Get educated with Khan Academy

The Khan Academy, a well-known non-profit for online learning, is offering free resources for students, parents and teachers. In an effort to help parents thrust into the role of home schooler – along with being a parent or professional worker – we’ve compiled a short list of tips that will help you keep your kids engaged during the COVID-19 health crisis.

Here are some of the Academy’s offerings that we found compelling:

  • Live stream and recorded lessons on their YouTube channel. From biology to arts to test prep, Khan Academy offers a wealth of educational materials in video format.
  • Engaging mobile app for little learners. The app is available for iPhone or Google.
  • Lessons are available in 40 languages.
  • Offer a variety of on-demand and live webinars to help parents plan.

Getting started is easy. Set up an account and start exploring.

We wish you luck as you embrace your role of “teacher.”
