Washington: Providence St. Mary to delay non-urgent surgeries

March 27, 2020 Providence News Team

Beginning March 19, due to the impact of COVID-19 Providence St. Mary will be postponing non-urgent surgeries and procedures that can be safely delayed.

Delaying surgeries and procedures that are not urgent is essential to conserve vital and limited resources such as blood, masks, gloves and gowns for emergency surgeries and care of the most critically ill people in our community.

We recognize that this is difficult news for patients affected by the delay. Patients who are impacted are being contacted and will be rescheduled.
