Providence Alaska Foundation names Denali Kemppel board member emeritus

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Providence Alaska Foundation (PAF) board has honored Denali Kemppel by voting her an emeritus member. 

Kemppel is being recognized for her contributions during her six years on the board. 

"Denali's leadership of the board was exceptional, especially as chair for the past two years during the foundation's leadership transition," said Cynthia Libby, MBA, CFRE, president and Chief Philanthropy Officer of Providence Alaska Foundation. "We thank her for her service and wish her well in her new role at Hilcorp as vice-president." 

Kemppel's emeritus board member status was supported by a unanimous vote during a recent PAF board meeting.

“Denali Kemppel’s six years serving on the Providence Alaska Foundation board were truly remarkable," added Dave Rand, sitting PAF board chair. "During her time, she helped guide the Foundation through many challenges and transitions. She exemplifies Providence’s core values, especially the value of Excellence, in her leadership. We are also proud of Denali as she takes on her new role as vice president at Hilcorp Alaska.”
