Chains of Caring ceremony highlights shared focus
on health, wellness of Alaska’s children
Anchorage, AK – An annual Chains of Caring linking ceremony is scheduled for noon on Friday, Feb. 28, in the Providence Health Park Healing Arts Alcove.
Chains of Caring is a fundraising effort by children throughout the Anchorage School District. It raises money for The Children’s Hospital at Providence by selling paper chain links for 25 cents each. During the ceremony, children will present their donations and link their chains together for a special display. The Children’s Hospital at Providence leadership and Superintendent Dr. Deena Bishop will speak at the event.
