The Power of Story: A Case-Based Introduction to Narrative Medicine

Boyden, MD Memorial Lectureship In this interactive session, Dr. Alessandra Colaianni will use case studies to introduce the practice of “close reading” and discuss several short creative works including poetry, prose, and visual art. Participants will explore this practice by developing reflective writing responses to prompts inspired by or related to the creative text. These responses will then be used to guide and generate an open-ended discussion.
