SJO Magnet Designation Day 2026

Today we celebrate one year since earning our fifth Magnet® designation and achieving Magnet with Distinction, the highest level of recognition awarded by ANCC. Our nursing teams have continued to strengthen the culture that made this achievement possible by advancing evidence-based practice, elevating shared governance, mentoring one another and delivering compassionate, highly skilled care to patients and families. As we mark this milestone, we celebrate not only the recognition itself, but the people behind it. Thank you to every nurse, caregiver and team member who continues to shape what nursing excellence looks like at St. Joseph Hospital.
