Must We Be Morally Courageous in Patient Care?

Dr. Hamric will describe a typology of courage that distinguishes between requisite and heroic courage. Arguing the need for a more nuanced understanding of this virtue, and through the lens of clinical examples, Dr. Hamric will provide a spectrum of perspectives regarding courage in health care professionals.
