This is an introduction to the Zero Suicide Framework. Paul Giger, MD, Co-Chair for the Zero Suicide Focus Group and Medical Director Behavioral Health, Providence Health Plan, discusses the role Providence plays in suicide prevention. He emphasizes the importance of the Zero Suicide clinical framework. This includes suicide screening, safety planning and suicide-specific care such as Dialetical Behavior Therapy, or DBT. Zero Suicide strives for the right care, at the right time, every time.
