Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center have been recognized as two of Oregon’s Best Regional Hospitals for 2021-22 by U.S. News & World Report. PSVMC was recognized for its performance in 19 categories; PPMC was named in 13.

In addition, Providence Medford Medical Center was recognized as high performing in four areas. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and Providence Newberg Medical Center each received one high performing mention.

For the 2021-22 ratings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,750 medical centers nationwide in 17 procedures and conditions. Fewer than a third of all hospitals evaluated received any high-performing rating.

The rankings will be published in the U.S. News “Best Hospitals 2022” guidebook in October. For more information, visit U.S. News Best Hospitals.
