St. Joseph Medical Center Recognized for Improvement in Patient Care

Polson, MT—The Montana Rural Healthcare Performance Improvement Network recently awarded Quality Improvement Awards to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center for its work on influenza immunization and rates. The award recognizes Providence's commitment to its community and the region it serves by increasing influenza immunization of health care workers and improving communication in transfers from the emergency department.

The Montana Rural Healthcare Performance Improvement Network is a voluntary membership of 48 critical access hospitals throughout the state of Montana.
