Spokane, WA—Join us Monday, January 15, at Providence Holy Family Hospital or Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital for events honoring one of America’s greatest champions of racial justice and equality.
Hear from Reverend Percy “Happy” Watkins as he delivers the famous “I Have a Dream” speech first heard in 1963 in Washington, DC, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. The annual event is free and includes reflection, music and refreshments; no registration required.
As a nation we celebrate and honor Dr. King and his dream of a country united in justice, peace and values of equality, tolerance, cooperation and sharing. On this national holiday, people from many different cultures come together in the spirit of brother and sisterhood to honor Dr. King, one of America’s greatest champions of racial justice and equality.
