Providence Holy Cross Medical Center was named one of Modern Healthcare magazine’s prestigious 2023 Best Places to Work in Healthcare. In the annual list of 150 hospitals, health care organizations and support businesses nationwide, Providence Holy Cross was honored for the fourth time in five years.
“Our Providence Holy Cross family is phenomenal,” said Bernard Klein, M.D., the hospital’s chief executive. “Our leadership and staff continue to reach new heights not only in quality, safety and expertise, but in the teamwork that makes Holy Cross not only a great place to work but one of the top hospitals in the nation for excellence and safety.”
Earlier this year, Providence Holy Cross was recognized for the fourth straight year as one of Healthgrades America’s 50 Best Hospitals. In March, the hospital earned Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for the third time, ranking it in the top 5% of the nation’s hospitals for safety. Last year, U.S. News & World Report numerous accolades included national recognition for orthopedics and obstetrics and gynecology.
Additionally, Providence Holy Cross has been recognized as a Magnet Hospital having received its fourth four-year designation in 2021. Magnet is the nation’s highest recognition for nursing excellence and the hospital’s tenure places it among the top 5% in the U.S. for nursing care.
