November 15, 2023

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center was one of 70 hospitals across the United States named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2023 list of "Hospitals and health systems with spine and neuroscience programs to know.”

“We are honored to receive this recognition, which is a testament to the care and expertise of our board-certified neurosurgeons, neurologists and orthopedic spine surgeon, as well as the compassionate, world-class neuro/spine services team at our hospital,” Chief Medical Officer Russ Braun, M.D. said.

To compile this list, the Becker’s editorial team accepted nominations and assessed rankings and awards from reputable organizations such as U.S. News & World Report and Healthgrades.

According to Becker’s, the hospitals and health systems selected for the 2023 list are nationally recognized for their exceptional spine and neuroscience programs and are “committed to improving patient outcomes, conducting trailblazing research and expanding access to care.”

Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s Neuro/Spine Services program diagnoses, treats and manages a full range of conditions that impacts a patient’s brain, nervous system and spine. From ischemic strokes and seizures to spinal disorders and injuries, the expert team at the Queen ensures all patients receive high-quality care that is supported by the latest research-backed treatments and aligned with state and national clinical guidelines.

“Beyond its clinical excellence and patient outcomes, it is the Queen’s patient-centered approach to care that makes it stand out from other hospitals across the United States,” Braun said. “As a community hospital, the Queen believes in providing leading-edge care in a compassionate and personalized way.”
