This week, the 40th annual Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) meeting gets underway in National Harbor, Maryland. Researchers, physicians, clinicians and students from around the world will present their cancer immunotherapy research in oral and poster abstract presentations.
We’re thrilled to announce that three researchers from Providence Cancer Institute have been selected for the 2025 Champion of SITC Award: Bernard Fox, Ph.D., William Redmond, Ph.D., and Walter Urba, M.D., Ph.D.
This coveted award honors individuals who have made a significant contribution to SITC’s mission by helping the organization reach its goals.
Also, on Thursday, Nov. 6, the SITC 2025 Workshop will explore the recent advances in cancer immunology and AI, and how these fields can converge to effectively address current hurdles in IO. Carlo Bifulco, M.D., medical director, Cancer Genomics and Precision Oncology at Providence Cancer Institute, is a program organizer. Find out more about the workshop and register here.
