For the second year in a row, the REPAIR MR trial recognizes Providence Swedish's echocardiography lab for its outstanding role in shaping the standards of mitral valve repair.
The echocardiography (echo) lab at Providence Swedish in Seattle, Washington, is earning international recognition for its role in advancing the future of mitral valve care.
In the latest REPAIR MR trial newsletter, Swedish was recognized as a top-performing site worldwide for echo quality and compliance, highlighting the strength of its cardiac imaging team. The REPAIR MR trial is one of the most significant structural heart studies currently underway, with echocardiography playing a key role in tracking patient outcomes and procedure success.
Swedish stands out globally, ranking as the second-highest enrolling site worldwide and the top enroller for two years in a row. This reflects strong clinical care and teamwork across care teams. The findings from this trial are expected to help guide both short- and long-term approaches to mitral valve repair and shape future care standards.
The echo lab has helped place Swedish among the highest-performing programs in echocardiology across cardiovascular care.
