Hurricane Dorian

September 12, 2019 Rod Hochman

It is deeply saddening to watch the news and see the human suffering and devastation in the Bahamas and the Carolinas. In the blink of an eye, Hurricane Dorian rendered thousands of individuals vulnerable and homeless.

We hold everyone affected by this storm close in our hearts. We also offer our support in the form of donations to the American Red Cross and Catholic Relief Services. As we have with many major disasters, Providence St. Joseph Health will match your contributions up to $100,000.

If you feel called to give, please consider making a donation via our American Red Cross  or Catholic Relief Services pages to take advantage of our matching opportunity. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have lost everything.

With so many cataclysmic acts of nature in recent years, it can be easy to tune out news of the latest disaster. Thank you to the many caregivers across Providence St. Joseph Health who, rather than falling into complacency, have asked, “What can we do to help?” Your spirit of compassion is a living testament to our values in action.Thank you for all you do.
