Ventricular Assist Device Therapy

When a heart is failing and transplantation isn’t an option or is not immediately available, a ventricular assist device, or VAD, can save a life. For some patients, a ventricular assist device, or VAD, can be a permanent solution with the aid of cardiac rehabilitation therapy.
