Hear Me Now: Acts of kindness continue during pandemic

Featuring Melissa Tiberio and Mafe Chase, Portland, Oregon

A worldwide pandemic didn’t stop Providence caregivers from finding ways to volunteer. Melissa explains the Action Hub and Mafe remembers organizing an opportunity to assemble hygiene kits to distribute to patients and others without homes.

Hear Me Now is a storytelling program at Providence, initially created in partnership with StoryCorps. Hear Me Now’s mission is to give patients, loved ones, and caregivers a sacred space to share their stories and make healthcare more humane.
