Since our founding, Providence has closely partnered with local organizations to address the most pressing needs in the Inland Northwest.   • Riverfront Moves Free Summer Fitness Series: Held in partnership with local health and fitness businesses, Providence is proud to be the presenting sponsor for this free fitness series that offers exercise classes for all ages and fitness levels throughout the summer. See the full list of classes and learn more.  

  • Make A Splash Free Summer Pool PartiesFriday's 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. | July 9, July 23 & Aug 7: Join us this summer for three FREE community pool parties hosted by Spokane Parks Foundation and sponsored by Providence. Help us fill up the pool! Kids and families are invited to cool off in the pool, enjoy free hot dogs and snow cones, meet the Spokane Mounted Patrol volunteers and their horses, grab a balloon animal from Vastra the Clown, and much more. Learn more

  • Unity in the Community | Saturday, August 16 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.                                              Join us at Unity in the Community as they celebrate 31 years as the regions largest multi-cultural event. The festival provides a unique opportunity for the Spokane community to embrace and celebrate diversity. The event included various acts on the main stage, a Cultural Villages where children can learn more about culture and traditions, a health and resources area and more! Providence will be a proud third-year sponsor and partner at Unity in the Community this year. We will sponsor and staff the First Aid Area as well as provided several educational booths throughout the health and resource fair. Click here to learn more.

  • The Boulevard Race benefiting Community Cancer Fund I Sunday, September 21 I 10 a.m. Looking for one of the best running and walking races in Washington and Idaho? Join us for the third running of The Boulevard Race on Sunday, September 21 in downtown Spokane. The 4-mile race will appeal to every fitness enthusiast and everyone who loves running and walking. Along the downtown Spokane race route, you will be entertained and energized by DJs, marching bands and drum lines, cheer squads, and heart thumping excitement in a trip through the scream tunnel!   If you are a runner looking for an incredible run or a walker looking to enjoy the scenery of Spokane on a beautiful fall walk – this is the race for you. The Boulevard – Spokane’s next big thing for downtown Spokane – and the important reminder that we are all in the race to beat cancer! Register and learn more.
