Providence Health Care Alters Visitor Policies

March 24, 2021 Providence News Team

Spokane, Wash.-- Providence is proud to offer exceptional care, which includes recognizing that the closeness of a loved one is part of the healing journey.

As we see local cases of COVID-19 slowly drop, we remain vigilant against the virus. We know that it has been difficult to be in the hospital without friends and family.

As of Wednesday March 24, we are altering our visitor policy to allow one adult visitor a day per inpatient. We are also allowing two adults to be with laboring moms while they are in the hospital. The Children's Hospital policy remains the same with two adult visitors per inpatient child.

Please note we still cannot allow visitors for patients with COVID.

Please remember that all visitors who meet our restrictions will continue to be screened and must follow masking and safety rules. Visitors who exhibit cold/flu like symptoms or fever will be asked to return home.
