Providence is growing its family of women’s health providers in Eastern Washington with the opening of Providence Obstetrics & Gynecology. This practice is Providence Medical Group’s first general gynecology and obstetrics practice in the Inland Northwest, complimenting Providence’s current offering of women’s health services.

Providence Obstetrics and Gynecology is located in the Sacred Heart Doctor’s Building. The practice includes physicians, nurse practitioners and staff formerly with OB/GYN Associates of Spokane.

This multidisciplinary practice offers a wide range of care services for women including obstetrics and gynecology, infertility testing, urinary incontinence care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries.

Providers include:

Jody Hechtman, M.D., FACOGAshley Henderson, M.D., FACOG, Robin J. Messinger, M.D., FACOG, Jean Ruth, M.D., FACOGTraci Satterfield, M.D., FACOG, Jana Stuckrath, ARNP, Laura “Jan” Wills, ARNPSally Delger, ARNP and Brieanne Gray, ARNP.

Steven Richards, M.D., FACOG, also previously with OB/GYN Associates, is joining Providence Surgical & Medical Gynecology which provides minimally-invasive and robotic surgical care for gynecologic conditions.

“Over the years, we have delivered many babies at Providence and worked alongside their specialists for a variety of women’s health care needs. Through these interactions, we came to realize that we wanted our practice to be a part of the Providence family,” said Robin Messinger, M.D., FACOG. “We value that Providence has the highest-level neonatal care in the region, the only children’s hospital and a network of women’s health specialists. We can’t wait to start seeing patients in our new office next week.”

“Providence provides whole-person care for women throughout their lives. The addition of Providence Obstetrics & Gynecology helps to round out these services, ranging from gynecologic surgery, gynecologic oncology care, high-risk pregnancy care, our Level IV NICU and more. Adding this group of forward-thinking providers expands our full-services for women,” said Cara Beatty, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Providence Medical Group.
