Providence Swedish North Puget Sound hospitals have once again been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) for outstanding performance in stroke and diabetes care as part of the American Heart Association (AHA's) Get With The Guidelines® program, marking more than a decade of continuous excellence.
Get With The Guidelines® is an in-hospital program established by the AHA for improving stroke care through consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. The program's success is backed by data and published studies measuring patient outcome improvements.
Providence Swedish North Puget Sound hospitals received the following 2025 Get With The Guidelines® awards:
- Providence Regional Medical Center Everett earned Stroke Gold Plus, along with Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
- Swedish Edmonds earned Stroke Gold Plus with Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus and Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
