Update: Masks still required at all Providence locations

February 12, 2022 Providence News Team

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently stated that people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can resume activities without wearing a mask.

However, CDC guidance still calls for masks in health care settings.

  • Providence follows CDC guidance in requiring KN95 and N95 masking for all patients, visitors and caregivers.
  • Everyone MUST wear a KN95 and N95 mask at Providence locations. The only exceptions are for certain medical conditions and for children under age 2.
  • If you do not have a mask we will provide you with one.

Thank you for understanding and for helping keep our patients and visitors safe.
