Specialists redeployed to COVID-19 front lines

Several health systems, including Providence, are redeploying specialists to assist on the front lines of the COVID-19 response in their communities. Providence has set up a volunteer pool where physicians within our medical groups can sign up to work at hospitals experiencing surges of COVID-19 patients. Kevin Manemann, chief executive of the Providence Physician Enterprise, expects many of the 10,000 physicians will sign up.
