Strengthening Breast Health in Hobbs Expanding access to education, prevention, and early detection Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital continues to expand access to preventive care and health education through the Rhonda Cobb Women's Health Series—an initiative designed to empower women with knowledge, resources, and support across every stage of life. In October, the hospital hosted Breast Health Prevention & Beyond, a community-focused event that brought together local partners, physicians, and community members for an evening centered on education, awareness, and connection. Held at the Maddox Community Center, the event provided a welcoming space for women to learn about breast health, early detection, and overall wellness. Attendees engaged with a resource fair featuring local nonprofits and healthcare organizations, strengthening connections between clinical care and community-based support. A multidisciplinary panel of Covenant Health physicians—including specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, and orthopedic care—shared insights on breast health, prevention strategies, and the importance of maintaining overall physical strength and mobility. Through education on self-screenings, recognizing early signs and symptoms, and proactive health management, the event reinforced the critical role of early detection in improving outcomes. This work was made possible through the generosity of Sam Cobb and the Cobb family, whose support honors the legacy of Rhonda Cobb and reflects a deep commitment to advancing women's health in the Hobbs community. By creating opportunities for education, access, and connection, Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital continues to strengthen the health and well-being of the communities it serves—ensuring women have the tools and support they need to live healthier lives. 2025 Annual Report
