Many caregivers, friends and family members
par ticipated and/or donated to team " The
Healers," raising $8,000 for the American
Cancer Society Relay for life of Torrance.
Providence Little Company of Mar y and City
of Hope South Bay par tnered together to be
proud sponsors of this incredible organization
and event that celebrates cancer sur vivors and
remembers loved ones lost.
12th Annual Conquer the Bridge September
A favorite Labor Day activity, many South Bay
Providence caregivers par ticipated in the
5.3 mile walk /run across the Vincent Thomas
Bridge. Proceeds from this event benefit the Los
Angeles Police Depar tment Harbor Area Cadet
Program which suppor ts youth programs in San
Pedro and the Harbor Area of Los Angeles
Layla's Walk October
This walk brings families together across
the South Bay community for a nature walk
through the grounds of the South Coast Botanic
Gardens. In honor of a young girl from a special
family, all the proceeds raised from this annual
event benefit Providence TrinityCare Hospice.
