busiest emergency departments

sources and standardized the 2025 community
health needs assessment process to better
understand climate concerns across service areas

Month 2024 to educate our caregivers and
the public on our climate resilience plan and
environmental justice commitment
OUR RESILIENCE PILLARS
RESILIENCE AND ADAPTATION
Unpredictable climate shifts will continue to
threaten our operations, our patient care and
our communities' well-being. Strengthening
resilience in all three of these areas will be
key to reducing both immediate and long-
term impacts.
Providence's climate action will remain
responsive to new knowledge, grounded in
justice, and centered on the understanding
that the impacts of climate change are not
felt equally across communities.
