REDEPLOYING, RESELLING AND
RECYCLING EQUIPMENT
Providence partners with an online auction platform to
redeploy, resell and recycle end-of-life equipment. For
example, since 2019 we have redeployed and resold 1,480
endoscopes. Efforts like these have helped the family of
organizations mitigate waste and continue to invest in
sustainability programs.

By partnering with an online auction platform
since 2018, Providence has saved millions through
redeployment, and recycled 137,530 pounds of medical
equipment that would have been sent to landfills.
This partnership has provided a safe avenue for selling
and
donating usable equipment and getting it into the
hands of other providers around the world.
