Executive Summary The healing ministry of Providence calls us to do everything we can to achieve our vision of health for a better world. Our family of organizations is dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact and advancing equity while providing innovative and excellent care to every person who enters our facilities. In 2023, following the social isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, we placed added emphasis on enhancing human connections and consciously increasing face-to-face interactions. In addition, we took steps to minimize our carbon footprint, advance health equity throughout our organization and community, and support the welfare of our caregivers. Through the dedicated efforts of more than 122,000 Providence caregivers, we made notable progress in all of these areas.
