INTRODUCTION ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE ABOUT US CAREGIVER DEVELOPMENT At Providence, we believe in offering our caregivers engaging development, learning and service experiences. We achieve that through innovative programs and partnerships like these: Virtual reality and 3D immersive experiences: Our AI-powered programs help caregivers learn, practice, apply and retain new skills. An easy-to-access education benefits program: Eligible caregivers have access to up to $5,250 in education benefits per year for tuition-based programs, certificate programs and professional development. We have robust engagement in this program, which is showing a direct impact on our attraction of new talent and retention of existing talent. Leadership development programs: Our complete suite of programs helps us retain top talent and support about 3,500 caregivers per year through leadership transitions. Earn-to-learn programs: We are piloting multiple ways to open access to education and career-track opportunities for caregivers by supporting their skill development and credentialling. CAREGIVERS IN THE COMMUNITY SERVICE IMMERSION EXPERIENCES Our local service immersion programs engage caregivers in day-long community service projects with key community partners. In 2023, more than 130 caregivers participated in 11 immersions focused on housing, food security, environmental justice, and equity and inclusion.
