Messages from Leadership
Dear Caregivers,
We have so much to be thankful for as we look back on 2021. While
COVID-19 is still a big par t of our lives, we continue to move for ward,
making progress as we go. Some caregivers may ask, how do we stay
hopeful in these incredibly challenging times? How do we get through
the exhaustion, hear tache, and, perhaps, frustration of what has
happened and continues to go on around us? One way is to take the time
to acknowledge those things for which we are grateful and to reflect on
what we have accomplished together this past year.
I am grateful for the caregivers at Providence Little Company of Mar y
Medical Centers San Pedro and Torrance ever y day. We have come
together to suppor t our community and each other and to provide
compassionate and healing care to those in need, especially those who
are most vulnerable. And the community has continued to suppor t us
by providing meals, gift cards, handwritten notes, and financial suppor t
through our Foundation. We are incredibly blessed to ser ve and be
ser ved by our community.
We are truly resilient. And as you read the caregiver newsletter for 2022,
I hope you realize that it is our caregivers that set us apar t and make a
difference each and ever y day in the lives of the people we ser ve.
Our In Good Company newsletter celebrates many of our recent
accomplishments and much much more. I am especially proud of the work
the Chief Executive Caregiver Experience Advisor y Council has done to
continue to allow our caregivers the best quality work environment with
the goal of making us the best place to work.
Thank you again for all that you do.
