2 Dear Caregivers, I am so excited for this first edition of our caregiver newsletter. This newsletter came about as a recommendation from the Chief Executive (CE) Caregiver Experience Advisor y Council to ensure caregivers stay informed about what is going on in our ministries. The newsletter will ser ve as another way the Senior Leadership Team can communicate directly with caregivers. I know that caregivers receive multiple email communications, and some are attending the CE townhalls. However, we are always looking for new and different ways to communicate impor tant information to our caregivers. With the advent of the caregiver newsletter, our hope is this forum will help bridge that gap and you will find the information per tinent and helpful. We also hope it will spur fur ther conversations with your leaders, those caregivers on the CE Caregiver Experience Advisor y Council, and with any member of the Senior Leadership Team. In each edition there will be a repor t out from the council, an update on our Mission activities, work we are doing to suppor t our community, a spotlight page recognizing volunteers, caregivers, and physicians that have gone above and beyond the call of duty, summar y of upcoming events and shout outs (caregiver awards, bir thdays, anniversaries), and a Human Resources feature on health and wellness. As the CE Caregiver Experience Advisor y Council provides an oppor tunity for the voice of the caregiver to be heard, each issue brought to the Senior Leadership Team will be discussed and an action, or actions, identified. We will then use the newsletter to provide transparency on the work that is done to address each of these concerns. We appreciate the gift of information that you, our caregivers are providing us. Our mission, vision, values, and promise call us to ensure that our caregivers have a voice, we listen to those voices, and par tner with you all for solutions. We are truly committed to making Providence Little Company of Mar y Medical Centers the best place to work for all. Thank you for taking the time to read through this and for any feedback that will help us continue to improve this communication process. Messages from Leadership Garry Olney Chief Executive, South Bay
