Reminder to all caregivers from Providence Information Services
Please check your Outlook contact details such as telephone number and location. Many new and recent hires (even a year+
out) still don't have a telephone number listed in the Outlook directory which makes it very hard to get in touch with you.
If you are a supervisor-level caregiver, or higher, please review the accuracy of your department 's information in the
Torrance and/or San Pedro telephone directories located on the Communications intranet page.
2021 AHA Get with the Guidelines
Congratulations to the Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro
Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Torrance Comprehensive Stroke Center who were,
once again, recognized by the American Heart Association's Get With The Guidelines-Stroke®
program. San Pedro achieved the Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite; and Torrance
achieved the Gold with Target: Stroke Elite Honor Roll Plus Advanced Therapy; and Target:
Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
Awards like this demonstrate our commitment to providing the highest quality care for our
patients, ultimately leading to more lives saved, shorter recovery times and fewer returns
to the hospital. Congratulations to the dedicated teams who contribute to the exceptional
stroke care we provide to our community!
