Championing Women's Heart Health
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death among women in
the United States — a reality that underscores the urgent need for
education, prevention, and early intervention. In response, Covenant
Health hosted a free Women's Heart Health & Wellness Fair designed
to empower women with knowledge, access to screening, and direct
connection to trusted medical experts.
Held at the Knipling Education and Conference Center at Covenant
Medical Center, the event brought together community members for
an engaging panel discussion focused on understanding heart health
at every stage of life.
Topics addressed Included:
Wellness, prevention, and health maintenance
Screenings, labs, annual exams, and overall cardiovascular health
Diabetes and nutrition
Hormone replacement therapy during perimenopause and
menopause
Managing risk factors across the lifespan
