Mental Health Care
The Covenant Community Outreach Counseling
Program expands access to behavioral health services
for low-income, uninsured, and vulnerable individuals
across our region. Services are delivered in-person and
via telehealth, extending care to Levelland, Plainview,
and surrounding rural communities.
Through partnership with Providence Well-Being Trust,
Covenant hospitals supported mental health expansion
grants for nonprofit partners across Texas and New
Mexico. At Covenant Children's Hospital, the outpatient
relational health unit ensures children and families
receive timely, specialized behavioral care.
The counseling internship program grew from two
interns in 2022 to seven in 2025—expanding access
while strengthening the future behavioral health
workforce pipeline.
