Provider (APP)
• Provided practice related education for APRNs. Topics included:
Stark Laws and billing practices, malpractice for APPs, how to
stay out of the courtroom, orientation to practice tools: Dax
co-pilot, Pearls, tools within Epic.
• Provided education in the form of case studies or best
practices/changes in current guidelines.
• Reviewed changes to California legislation and APP Practice at
Providence at each meeting.
• Welcomed first physician assistant to the Council.
