Community Connection: Covenant Health | 4 At Covenant Health, our unwavering commitment to exceptional patient care, innovation, and community health continues to earn recognition from some of the most respected healthcare and rating organizations worldwide. In 2024, we were honored to have received numerous awards and accolades from national and international institutions that highlight our dedication to excellence in medical outcomes, patient experience, and clinical advancements. From prestigious rankings by U.S. News & World Report, Becker's Healthcare, and The Joint Commission, to global recognitions for quality and safety, these achievements are a testament to the hard work and passion of our physicians, nurses, and staff. Most importantly, they reflect our continued promise to provide the highest standard of care to the patients and families who trust us with their health. Covenant Medical Center The Palliative Care unit at Covenant Medical Center was surveyed by the Joint Commission, a global driver of quality improvement and patient safety in health care, and received their two-year certification once again in Advanced Palliative Care. This recognition accompanies Covenant Medical Center's accreditation, as well as being named an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center. Covenant Children's Covenant Children's received the prestigious NDNQI Award for Outstanding Nursing Quality from Press Ganey. This award is named annually to the best performing hospital based on performance in areas such as quality of care, RN education and certifications, RN turnover, and hospital-acquired infections, among many others. There is only one pediatric hospital annually chosen to receive this award and we are proud to say that Covenant Children's stands alone in receiving this award - now for the second time in three years. U.S. News and World Report named Covenant Children's a High Performer in Maternity Care. This honor reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care for moms and babies through every step of the pregnancy journey. We are so proud of our dedicated team who makes it all possible, and grateful to the families who trust us with their care. Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center Becker's Hospital Review named our Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center as one of the "100 Great Oncology Programs" for 2024. As one of just eight cancer centers in Texas to receive this honor, this recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our incredible team. We remain committed to providing exceptional cancer care to our patients in West Texas and eastern New Mexico, with access to cutting-edge treatments, clinical trials, and advanced technologies.
