Receives Beacon Award
Congratulations to the Palliative Medicine Unit at Covenant Medical Center for receiving
the silver-level Beacon Award for Excellence! This award from the American Association
of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) recognizes individual units that distinguish themselves by
successfully improving all elements of patient care, setting the standard for optimal health
care.
For patients and their families, the Beacon Award signifies exceptional care in a unit
that puts patients first. For nurses, this award can mean a positive and supportive work
environment with greater collaboration,
