Levelland Caregivers Make a Difference During Lunch Breaks
In Levelland, Texas, Covenant Health caregivers—Veronica, Tommie, and Barbara—have
spent nearly a year volunteering during their lunch breaks at the Salvation Army. Their
dedication is a quiet force, bringing relaxation and a sense of community service.
Veronica emphasizes how it strengthens
their team outside the clinic, while
Tommie finds solace in contributing
to free Thanksgiving dinners. Barbara
simply sums it up as "relaxing." Despite
personal losses, these caregivers persist,
finding satisfaction in knowing their
lunch-hour efforts make a difference.
Beyond tangible impact, this act of
giving back becomes a therapeutic
escape, showcasing the
profound healing power
of community service.
These Covenant Health Levelland caregivers exemplify the spirit of
making every moment matter in giving back to their community.
