Community Connection: Covenant Health | 4 Covenant Children's Weekend of Giving Elevating Impact through Storytellers and Golf Covenant Children's Weekend of Giving is back, promising an unforgettable blend of entertainment and philanthropy. The 22nd Annual Storytellers event, coupled with a premier golf tournament, aims to generate impactful funds in support of Covenant Children's integrative care programming. Returning to chair this year's event are Texas Tech head football coach Joey McGuire and his wife Debbie, embodying a commitment to community welfare and healthcare excellence. Storytellers: An Evening of Harmony and Giving Commencing the weekend festivities on Friday, May 3, Storytellers promises a night of musical enchantment featuring Sara Evans and songwriter Jeff Trott. The event will unfold on the rooftop of the Knipling Education & Conference Center on the Covenant Medical Center campus, providing a picturesque backdrop for an unforgettable night. Chip In for Children: Celebrity Golf Tournament On May 6, the focus shifts to the Lubbock Country Club, which will host 22 golf teams, each boasting a celebrity guest as their fifth member. This premiere golf tournament not only promises a day of competitive golf but also serves as a platform for camaraderie and community engagement.
