Los Angeles LGBT Center

The Los Angeles LGBT Center is the largest LGBTQ+ organization in the world. It provides services and programs across several sites across Los Angeles. https://lalgbtcenter.org/

Trans Wellness Center (TWC)

Through the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the TWC provides resources and services for transgender and nonbinary people. Services include mental health services, housing navigation, youth services, clothing closet, legal services, and more.

Liberation Coffee House

Through the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Liberation Coffee House is a café and community space operated and staffed by the LGBT Center’s culinary program. Revenue from Liberation Coffee House is reinvested into the LGBT Center.

Pride Pantry

Through the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Pride Pantry provides food to the community every Friday in Hollywood. Other locations also provide food in East and South LA.

ProjectQ provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth with housing insecurities. The Community Center provides free mentorship classes, workshops, and gender-affirming haircuts.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project’s goal is to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people. The website includes various mental health resources as well as access to a counselor on a confidential line 24/7.

GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students can learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. The website provides programs, resources, and research for educators and students to make this a reality.


GSA Network

GSAs- Gender & Sexualities Alliances are student-run organizations across the nation that unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to build and organize around issues that impact them in their school and communities. The website guides you on developing a GSA and also where to find existing GSAs in your area.



CenterLink is an international nonprofit/member-based association of LGBTQ centers and organizations that serve local and regional communities. Their goal is to strengthen, supprot, and connect LGBTQ community centers. The website has information on your local centers, job opportunities, and more.


National Center for Transgender Equality

The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. NCTE wors to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.


National LGBTQ Task Force

The National LGBTQ Task Force is dedicated to achieving freedom and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer people, and their families through proactive, targeted, change-inducing initiatives.



Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.



The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and intersex Youth and Student Organization in the largest member-based network in the world dedicated to LGBTQI youth and their rights. IGLYO work focuses on the protection, empowerment, and freedom of LGBTQI young people between 18-30 years old.
