Audi • Infiniti • Volvo Mission Viejo Golf Classic Presented by Jessup Management Services Raised More Than $367,000 in Support

June 28, 2016

Since the tournament began 24 years ago, nearly $4.5 million has been raised to support new technology and various patient care enhancements.

Mission Viejo, CA – The Mission Hospital Golf Classic continued its rich philanthropic tradition by netting more than $367,000. This successful event, held at Pelican Hill Club in Newport Beach, would not have been possible without the leadership of Golf Chairs Lynn Maioriello and Joey Maioriello and the generosity of Tournament Sponsor Audi • Infiniti • Volvo Mission Viejo and Presenting Sponsor Jessup Management Services.

The golf tournament proceeds will enhance Mission Hospital’s ability to provide world-class health care and meet the unique needs of individuals throughout our south Orange County community.

First place on the men’s north course was claimed by The Word & Brown Companies foursome, including Sam Cole, Tom Brietfeller, Clinton Gee and Jeff Hetcht. On the south course, the first place finish among the men was Kane Pithey, Greg Schneekluth, Ryan Sandstrom, Devlin Thomas from KPFF Consulting Engineers.

The Coto de Caza team of Dana Bredenkamp, Lynn Mairoriello, Debbie Long and Donna Sabatasso landed the women’s first place victory.

One of the annual highlights of the event is the raffle drawing of a new Audi, Infiniti or Volvo, complements of Audi • Infiniti • Volvo Mission Viejo. This year’s lucky winner is Douglas Martin of Aliso Viejo.

Forecaddies were once again provided for each foursome – graciously donated by Ira Hermann of Capstone Partners Financial and Sunwest Bank. Our Platinum Sponsors included Healthcare Design & Construction LLC, N & BP Trust, Meyer & Reeder, Inc., Prestige Office Coffee Service, Robert and Carol Summers Family Trust and WP Electric Communications, Inc.

Golfers enjoyed incredible food offered by Hanna’s Restaurant & Bar and The Blind Pig and cool refreshments including NOLET’S Silver Dutch Mules and Ketel One Citroen Lemonade.

In addition to an incredible day of golf, many tournament attendees won raffle and tournament prizes, as well as live and silent auction items. Among the most popular items: a private dining event at Stone Hill Tavern at Monarch Beach Resort, South Coast Plaza shopping experience, a one-year membership for concierge medicine from PersonalCare Physicians and a golf package including foursomes at Pelican Hill, Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Aliso Viejo and Oak Creek golf clubs.
