NOTE: You must be fit tested or trained on
use of respirators to ensure fit and protection.
5. Enhanced and other Precautions
• Used for diseases that require unique PPE
due to enhanced transmission such as viral
hemorrhagic fever.
• May require additional training.
• PPE — As necessary.

Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and work with
their Infection Preventionist. It's essential to educate
and lead the healthcare team in proper adherence
to these precautions, ensuring the safety and
