Eight exemplary nursing awardees were nominated and selected by their peers for prestigious nurse week awards. Recognition promotes empowerment, involvement and continuous improvement. Michelle Genova, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer emceed the event, reading a brief statement about each of the winners describing accomplishments related to their award distinction. Brian Helleland, Chief Executive, presented the prestigious awards to each winner as they walked the red carpet. The evening concluded with some more sweetness—a delicious cake, coffee and tea for family and co-workers.
