Caregivers Swapping Scrubs for Hard Hats
Recently, Covenant Health sent many of our caregivers to volunteer for the Lubbock
Habitat for Humanity's 2024 Capitol Build! The frame of this house was constructed
on the steps of the Texas Capitol in Austin, and then shipped to Lubbock, where many
local teams have contributed to completing the house in the original Lubbock Habitat
neighborhood. We love serving our community and are proud of our caregivers for helping
to provide homes for families in Lubbock.

Cassie is dedicated to ensuring our community has
access to top-tier health care, overseeing planning,
administration, compliance, budgeting, community
relations, staffing, and more. Under her leadership, the
Covenant Hospital Plainview has received the ANCC
Pathways to Excellence designation and earned the Joint
Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total
Hip and Knee Replacement Certification in 2022, and
acquired a Da Vinci surgical robot in 2023. Cassie is also
board certified by the American College of Healthcare
Executives.
Rural hospitals allow patients from remote areas to receive care without traveling long
distances or sacrificing quality. The executives featured on this list are committed to
expanding hospital service lines, renovating and improving their facilities, and hiring
talented team members.
