He's not Superman, but with the aid of the HipInsight mixed-reality navigation system, he can see into patients' bodies to perform hip replacement surgeries with greater precision and efficiency, which means smaller incisions and faster recoveries. Former NFL offensive lineman Mike Rosenthal, who is featured in this story, was thrilled to walk out of the hospital on crutches the same day he had his surgery with Dr. Mayeda.
