10 | Health Matters: Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center New Outpatient Rehab Clinic is Now Open Same great care, new easy-to-access location P atient feedback has always helped guide decision making at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, and that is certainly the case with our new Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic for physical therapy/occupational therapy (PT/OT). "Our patients let us know that the old PT/OT space wasn't easy to get to and needed to be updated," says Julianne Courtenay, a doctor of physical therapy and manager of physical and occupational therapy at Providence Saint Joseph. "With this new space, we have the same great caregiving team that we've always had and a brand- new clinic that is updated and open," she says. "We can provide a gym-like feel for those who want to do their rehab around others, and we have private rooms for those who require privacy." Our dedicated staff—which includes a certified hand therapist, two vestibular rehab specialists, a pelvic rehab practitioner, occupational therapists and more—is excited to continue to provide great service and one-on-one care in the new space. It's that kind of personal care that has always set us apart from other local clinics, and now we have a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility to go with it. The new Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic is located directly across from the emergency department and right next to the new Providence Urgent Care Center. There is a convenient, carved-out drop-off zone right in front of the new entrance, which is adjacent to the parking structure off Buena Vista Street and Cusumano Way. The parking structure features dedicated parking spaces just for PT/OT patients. Ross A. Benson Photography
