2 | Health Matters: Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center Letter to the Community A t Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, we are nearing completion of construction and planning the opening of our new Friese Family Patient Care Tower, which will feature the latest technology so we can continue to provide you with excellent care. Anyone who travels along the Ventura Freeway has been able to watch each phase of the construction process and can now see the completed modern exterior of our future home. Yet as we look forward to the new, we also are reflecting upon our strong and storied past, celebrating our 50th anniversary caring for our valued community. As we prepare to move to our new tower this fall, we bring with us the strong foundation that has served as our backbone for the past 50 years. Our care teams will continue to provide outstanding award-winning cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, neurology and vascular, orthopedic, women's and children's care. That commitment to excellence in patient care resulted in Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center being named a top regional hospital by U.S. News & World Report. Our partnership with Cedars-Sinai allows us to usher in a new era, introducing additional specialty services to those seeking care. We couldn't be prouder of our past and more excited about what the next 50 years will bring. Of course, our well-honored past and our plans for the future wouldn't be possible without the selfless dedication of our caregivers. Every day, our physicians, nurses, technicians, environmental services staff, food and nutrition teams and more arrive for their shifts with the intention of getting you healthy so you can return home. I hope you will join me in expressing my gratitude to all our caregivers. We are excited to share with you a sneak peek at our new patient care tower. Be on the lookout for more information about our grand opening. It will be shared through our Facebook and Instagram pages in coming months. Nick Lymberopoulos, Chief Executive Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center From 1973 to 2023: the Tarzana campus over the years.
