Providence St. Mary Earns Prestigious Recognition U.S. News & World Report recognizes hospital for specialty care. E arlier this year, Providence St. Mary Medical Center earned "high performing" ratings from U.S. News & World Report for treatment of six serious conditions. These high marks would not be possible without our entire team working together so seamlessly. In these latest ratings, our hospital was recognized for treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, heart failure, kidney failure, pneumonia and stroke, according to data released in July. "Each of these conditions is extremely serious, and our doctors and caregivers—despite overwhelming numbers of COVID-19 cases—have continued to provide excellent care to all our patients," says Randall Castillo, Providence St. Mary chief executive.
