New robotic equipment will make
back surgery faster and with quicker patient recovery.
The spine program at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is unique. It is
a multidisciplinary program in which pain specialists, exercise therapists,
rehabilitation specialists and fellowship trained spine surgeons all work
together to understand and treat back problems. And now, the program has
just gotten more special with the addition of new cutting edge technology for
back surgery — the Globus Medical Excelsius GPS, a surgical robot.
